English-speaking psychologists in Spain
If you live in Spain but your inner voice still speaks English, therapy in Spanish can feel like doing the hardest work of your life with one hand tied behind your back. MiTerapiaTime lets you find a psychologist registered in Spain who works in English, see their real availability and book a session online, by phone or in person.
What MiTerapiaTime is
MiTerapiaTime is a Spanish booking platform for private therapy. Each psychologist runs their own practice: they set their prices, their specialities and the languages they work in, and publish the hours they actually have free. We are not a clinic and we do not assign you to anyone — you choose the person, and everything after that happens directly between the two of you.
It is aimed at anyone living in Spain who would rather do therapy in a language they think in: expats, students, remote workers, seasonal residents and anyone whose Spanish is fine for the supermarket but not for grief, anxiety or a marriage.
How it works
- Choose your psychologistBrowse the profiles below, or the full directory. Every profile shows specialities, session languages, the way they work, prices and reviews from real patients.
- Book a slot that genuinely existsYou see the psychologist's live calendar and pick a free slot. No waiting for someone to call you back, no "we'll be in touch".
- Pay securely by cardYou pay at the moment of booking, by card, through Stripe. Card details never touch our servers, and the price you see on the profile is the price you pay.
Psychologists who offer sessions in English
We're onboarding English-speaking psychologists right now, and none of them is live yet. We only list a psychologist here once they have stated on their own profile that they can hold a session in English, and so far none has. We would rather show you an empty page than a name we made up.
If you would like us to write to you the moment one is available, email info@miterapiatime.es and say roughly what you are looking for. That's it — no form, no account, no marketing list.
In the meantime you can look through every psychologist on MiTerapiaTime. The profiles are written in Spanish, but each one states the languages that psychologist can work in, so you can check for yourself.
What it costs
No English-speaking psychologist has published prices yet. For reference, a session with the psychologists you can currently book on MiTerapiaTime costs between €45.00 and €120.00. Each profile shows that psychologist's own prices before you book anything.
There is no membership, no subscription and no booking fee added on top: you pay the psychologist for the session and nothing else. MiTerapiaTime earns a small commission from the psychologist, not from you. If you need an invoice — for your employer, your insurer or your own records — ask your psychologist, who can issue one from the platform.
Questions people actually ask
- Is this covered by my health insurance?
- No. MiTerapiaTime is private, self-pay therapy: you pay by card at the time of booking, and we do not bill insurers or the Spanish public health system. If your policy reimburses out-of-network therapy, ask your psychologist for an invoice and claim it yourself — many insurers accept that, but you should check yours before you book.
- Can I have my sessions online from another city?
- Yes. Online sessions are held over video call inside MiTerapiaTime — you need a browser, a decent connection and a room where you can talk. It makes no difference whether you are in Madrid, Málaga, a village in Galicia or travelling; a psychologist marked as "Online" can see you from anywhere. Slots are shown in the psychologist's local time, which is Spanish time unless their profile says otherwise.
- Which languages can I have my sessions in?
- Each psychologist declares this on their own profile. Right now the psychologists listed on MiTerapiaTime offer sessions in Spanish. We are working on adding English-speaking psychologists — see above.
- Are the psychologists properly registered?
- Yes. In Spain, practising psychologists must be registered with a regional Colegio Oficial de Psicólogos and hold a número de colegiado (registration number). We ask every psychologist for theirs when they join, and it is required before they can charge for sessions or issue invoices. You can ask your psychologist for the number and check it against their College's public register — a genuine professional will hand it over without blinking.
- What if I'm not sure therapy in English is what I need?
- Say so in the message when you book, or email us at info@miterapiatime.es. Booking is per session, so nothing commits you to a course of treatment. If you are in crisis or at risk right now, this is not the right route: in Spain call 024 (suicide helpline) or 112 for emergencies.
